Privacy & Data
Why this business has your data
You’re reading this because the invoice or appointment page that linked you here showed your name, phone number, or email. This page explains where that data came from, who has it, and how to remove it.
Where the data came from
A pet-care business you’ve booked with — a grooming salon, boarding facility, daycare, or trainer — uses enpet.ai to run their bookings, billing, and customer records. They entered your contact details so they could confirm appointments, send invoices, and reach you about your pet’s visit.
Who has access
- The business itself — they’re the controller of your data. They decide what to collect and how long to keep it.
- enpet.ai — we operate the software they use. We process your data only to make their tools work (storing it, syncing it across their devices, sending reminders on their behalf). We do not sell it. We do not use it to train AI models.
- Stripe — when you pay an invoice online, Stripe handles the card details directly. enpet.ai never sees your card number, and the business sees only the last four digits.
Your rights
Under GDPR (EU/UK) and CCPA (California), you have the right to:
- See what data the business has about you.
- Correct anything that’s wrong (a misspelled name, an old phone number).
- Have the data deleted — subject to the business’s legal duty to retain transaction records for tax purposes (typically 6–7 years in most jurisdictions).
- Export a copy of your data in a machine-readable format.
The first place to exercise these rights is the business itself — they’re the data controller. Their phone number is on the invoice or appointment page that brought you here. If they don’t respond within 30 days, contact enpet.ai directly at privacy@enpet.ai.
Other providers on enpet
If a pet care business invited you to enpet, your account starts with provider browsing turned off. You will see the business that invited you and anyone else you connect to yourself — not a directory of other providers.
You can turn browsing on at any time under Account → Privacy & Data → Providers. It is your choice alone: no provider can turn it on or off for you, in either direction.
We do not tell your providers what you look at. Whether you browse, what you search for, and which providers you view are never reported to any business — not individually, not in a list, and not in an export. A business may see an anonymous count of how many of their clients also use other enpet providers, and only once they have enough clients for that number to reveal nothing about any individual.
Separately, enpet only emails or notifies you about providers you do not already use if you have asked us to. That is a different setting from browsing, and it is off unless you turn it on — choosing to look around is not the same as agreeing to be marketed to.
Businesses on enpet may ask us not to promote competing providers to their clients. That agreement limits what we send you; it never limits what you can look at.
Cookies and tracking
The hosted invoice and customer pages use only essential cookies — the ones required to keep the page functional (session security, language preference). We do not run advertising trackers, marketing pixels, or third- party analytics on customer-facing pages.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.2+) and at rest. Payment information goes directly to Stripe, a PCI DSS Level 1 provider. Access to business data is gated by role-based permissions inside the business’s account.
